Pulled Pork and Cole Slaw Fries
Lets start out with the Pork
Pork:
I used a Pork Tenderloin
I put it in the crock pot with 1 Cup of Water on Low for 10 Hours
Season to taste
I used
McCormick Grill Mates Pork Rub
Garlic Powder
After the 10 hours I took the pork out of the crock pot and shredded with a fork. Mix BBQ sauce (whatever one you like. I used Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ). Depending on how juicy you like your pork, depends on how much you use. I used 2 large bottle.
Then there is the Cole Slaw
Cole Slaw:
1 head (medium) cabbage shredded
1 to 2 carrots shredded
I had a small piece of purple/red cabbage I shredded and put in there
1/2 of a medium Onion shredded (not a big fan of onion, you can use more if you would like)
Cole Slaw Dressing
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1- 1/12 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1-1/2 tablespoons of vinegar
pepper to taste (I did 1/2 teaspoon)
Salt to taste (I did 1/4 teaspoon)
Mix all together and let sit in fridge for 1 hour.
Lets not forget the fries
I took 5 Potatoes and sliced them (slice to your preference on thickness)
Fried in oil until crispy
As soon as they came out I out salt and pepper on them while hot
I also served mine with a side of Cheese Con Queso Dip
