 Since 1991, the federal government has designated October as Energy Awareness Month, and Best Buy makes it easy for you to find ENERGY STAR® certified products online and in our stores to help you save money on your energy costs. They can also help you connect with local utility rebates on the energy-efficient products we use every day.

We are always trying to save money one way or another, using energy efficiency is a very important part! We need to use ENERGY conservation, so that we can save money and also help our environment. Our children need to be taught how to save and replenish our earth just as we have to right now, or our earth will not be a healthy happy environment. When you buy new products you will see the electricity the product uses vs your old product by a few dollars and those few dollars will amount to an abundance at the end of the year. The money you save can go towards your households other necessities that are far more important.
I personally have replaced all of my light bulbs with LED light bulbs, they cost a bit more at the store but MORE then Paid for themselves in the long run on my electric bill. I do have all my large appliances as ENERGY STAR appliances as well as Televisions, blu-ray player and even my laptop. I want to not only save on my electrical consumption but also help towards our whole worlds need to use less and recycle more. I love recycling and coming up with new ideas to repurpose and reuse items that are no longer usable for the purpose they originally were meant for.
I love the fact that you can get ENERGY STAR REBATES, as this again is a BONUS incentive for us all to help save energy and money!
