Want A dessert you or the kids cant resist!!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Cupcakes
What you will need:
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Cup of Corn Syrup
1 1/3 Cup of Creamy Peanut Butter
4 1/4 Cup of Rice Krispies
1 Pinch of Salt
6 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (you are going to need to chop these)
1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter filled Chocolate Chips (you can also use regular Chocolate Chips)
In a large sauce pan over medium heat, melt the sugar, corn syrup, and peanut butter until smooth and evenly combined.
Remove from heat and add your salt and Cereal. Mix all the way through (you need to mix this quick or your mixture will harden)
Add the chocolate chips and stir again.
Wait about 2 minutes and add the candy. Mix slightly but quickly (be careful not to crush the candy all the way)
Get your cupcake tin and spray with cooking spray ( so they do not stick to pan)
I placed the mixture in the cupcake holes until it was cool then I placed then in cupcake papers to serve.
While they are cooling take
1/2 cup of Creamy Peanut Butter and melt (i just melted mine in the microwave)
In a separate Bowl take
1 cup of chocolate chips and melt those (also done in the microwave)
And drizzle some of each of the treat.
I used the large Cupcake Tins but I recommend using the smaller ones
