I liked Nancy Drew Mysteries
I like that they actually keep my 8 year old son’s attention. There aren’t many books that can do that but he really enjoys “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”
The babysitters club books were my all time favorite.
I like that the content is innocent enough for my 7 year old son to read. There are too many potentially inappropriate subject matters that kids have the ability to access. I want to keep my son little and innocent for as long as I possibly can.
Geez can’t remember any I read, but totally have enjoy Judy Blume set’s my granddaughters.
i love the fact that it is able to keep the attention af all 3 of my children they take turns reading the chapters that is so awsome to hear and watch
I assume, and hope they are like all the other great chapter books, they draw the kids interest with “real life” stories that the kids relate to,.With funny twists and the continuing characters, the stories make them feel like “I know that kid”. I miss having the grandkids living close by, like they use to, I feel so “out of the loop” these past few years.
I think they’re funny…and kids can relate to them. When my daughter reads them to me I find I’m actually laughing!
Oh my gosh..I can’t remember what chapter books were my favorite. I read constantly as a kid..everything was fair game!
I love that my son thinks they are so funny.
My favorite books growing up were Judy Blume books.
CS Lewis/and Juney Bean/ And the Magical Treehouse/And the Boxcar Kids—we didn’t much to do as kids, cleaning, working in the orchard, pulling weeds in the gardens, picking berries–so the fun things were camping, swimming, and reading
The two books that we had the opportunity to read are just darn right fun– haven’t seen the movie–didn’t know there was one.
Story of Lassie was my favorite growing up. I like the fact that “A Diary of a Whimpy Kid” has something that all kids can relate to and help them understand that they aren’t the only one that has issues. A great read to give to my grand-children. Please note, wasn’t able to follow on Pinterest due to awaiting an invite to my subscription. Followed and have been following on Twitter and Face Book.
Anything by Judy Blume!!
This series is quirky and funny!

My favorite chapter books growing up were “Charlotte’s Web,” and “Anne of Green Gables.”
My favorite thing about the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” books is that the pictures combined with the text are just so darned funny!
Chocolate Fever and The chocolate Touch
What I love about the movies…. they’re funny stories more real than not and my kids love them
i loved the little house on the prairie series!
Nancy Drew and Judy Blume. I also loved the Chronicles of Narnia series.
I love that they keep my kids interest and that’s important for kids that don’t enjoy reading.
I love Ramona
I love the movies
I loved Nancy Drew and the Laura Ingalls Wilder books.
I love any book that captures my children’s interest that I can read with them. And if I like the book, too, that’s an added bonus. And I do like the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. My daughter has read the first one and loved it. She’s asked for more, so if I win this I am going to sit it back for Christmas for her. :0)
I loved the “Little House on the Prairie” series of books growing up.
I love the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books because they are the first books that interested my son enough, that he tries to read them all on his own
Nancy Drew
That my kids (and I) enjoy them! I love to see/hear my kids laugh.
I think my favorite books growing up would have been the boxcar children or the littles.

my favorite chapter book was the giver, but i guess my favorite chapter book series was either sweet valley kids or baby sitter’s little sister. i think i liked those because my older sisters read sweet valley high and the babysitter’s club. but i pretty much would read anything that was put in front of me : )
i think diary of a wimpy kid is a great series because it has gotten so many kids interested in reading that wouldn’t read otherwise.
i like the wimpy kid series because it deals with real things my daughter can relate too..but in a humorous way!
Growing up my favorite chapter book was anything written by Judy Blume or Beverly Cleary.

What I like best about the Wimpy Kids books is that they get students to read. Any book that kids will pick up is a great one in my opinion!
